Ponca City

BFS conducted an aerial survey of the Phillips 66 tank farm in Ponca City, OK. BFS utilized an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), to provide an accurate, quantitative analysis of 95 tank dikes for Secondary Containment Capacity Evaluation. In addition to the aerial survey of the Project, an extensive GIS database was created, including online data and data gathered while in the field. This allowed the identification and quantification of tanks and their secondary containments in a three-week period, versus the traditional ground survey methodology which had been a six-month process. This allowed for a cost savings to the client in excess of $250,000.
